Raft Attackers — two captured by Stout

Two survivors of the boarded three-man raft (the third was Toby). Stayed completely silent throughout the encounter until Wicket brandished the recovered whistle and asked if they thought the Vances cared whether they died — both shouted 'of course not' and fled. Captured and handcuffed by Captain Stout and three guards who emerged from concealment before the pair reached the tree line. Now in Stout's custody.

Session 11: Four prisoners interrogated on the riverbank — Stout's two captures plus the two Sanji took on the first raft (one knocked out, one surrendered), now consolidated. Three were conscious during interrogation; all described themselves as mill dock workers who load and unload rafts. (1) The one Sanji intimidated (roll 18): hadn't left the mill in months, was drafted for the escort because he was on night shift, identified the dead man as Tobias Grimm the animal handler, admitted he has a niece and nephew; Sanji told him to find a different job. (2) The middle one, whom Vaela shook and accidentally burned with her natural heat (roll 18 intimidation): confessed everything Goonies-style, including naming Kreel as the foreman who gives all orders. (3) The untouched one on the end, silent until Vaela stared him down: gave his name as Benjamin — same name as the inn's desk clerk, DM-lampshaded. (4) The fourth, still unconscious from Sanji's headbutt, out roughly another 15 minutes. Collectively confirmed: crates and barrels are secret ('they don't let us look'), no password at the mill ('we know each other'), none knew exactly who was on the third raft except that it was Kreel's. The other prisoners reacted with visible alarm when Kreel's name was spoken. Afterward, four of Stout's seven guards marched them to the town guard shack, two to a cell.
