Starwater River — Upriver Stretch (toward Old Redwater Mill)

Party traveled this stretch on two rafts towed by Pickles. Increasingly dense concentration of Tally Mark and Antlers brand on riverside structures and docks to the exclusion of all other marks. River banks appeared unusually deserted of normal shoreline activity, suggesting the Vance network controls or intimidates traffic in this corridor.
